Transition (2020)
Transition examines the ambivalent effect of a transition into an ephemeral state. This fragile process remains fluent and seeks a balance between change and recurrence. The generative development of the composition is in the foreground. It is not only responsible for the sound production, but plays a central role in the execution of musical events and control signals.
In collaboration with the ceramic studio Yvonne Sager in Burgdorf, a series of sound objects and resonating bowls was designed for Transition.
